It all comes down to a precious few -- and now it’s a strong pack of five great dancers who remain in Season 7 of Dancing With the Stars. For the first time last night, our favorite stars had to tackle two dance routines in the same show: a ballroom number and a Latin fiesta!

Cody and Edyta.

Hannah Montana star Cody Linley was still without former Vegas Academy music professional Julianne Hough, but he managed to rack up two 24 judge’s scores for his foxtrot and mambo for a total of 48 out of 60. Lance Bass, our regular Vegas visitor, scored 26 for his foxtrot and 24 for his samba for a total of 50 out of a possible 60.

Model-actress and talk show host Brooke Burke nailed down 28 for her tango and 27 for her mambo for a total of 55 out of 60. Remember she’s the girl we predicted right from the get-go would win. That left Olympic gold medalist Maurice Green, who wound up with 48 out of 60, and Super Bowl champion Warren Sapp with 54 out of 60.

So tonight it’s the viewers vote, and we’ll see if they agree that one of the two stars at the bottom of the leader board with 48 apiece out of 60 -- Cody Linley or Maurice Green -- get the chop and are sent home never to return. If Cody makes it safely through, he’ll be reunited for next week’s shows with Julianne, who will be this evening’s guest star singing her new country music single “My Hallelujah Song.”

Vegas DeLuxe will be back tomorrow morning with the grim details of who goes home for good.
