*Music legend Prince had a new, stunning, dark-haired exotic beauty on his arm -- behind a wall of security bodyguards -- during weekend nightclub visits. After his trip into Tao at The Venetian that we reported yesterday, he also showed up at new sister nightspot Lavo in the Palazzo to check out DJ Vibe’s twisting turntables. Then he went off to the House of Blues late night at Mandalay Bay and executed a surprise duet with Q-Tip to the rapper’s hit single “Vibrant Thing.”

*Star surveillance: Caesars Palace headliner Bette Midler took four of her cast friends to Mindfreak magician Criss Angel’s new Cirque du Soleil show Believe at the Luxor. … Comedy star Marlon Wayans checked out the bikini beauties and their nightly pageant at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. … The young stars of this weekend’s soon-to-be blockbuster vampire romance Twilight -- Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone -- all enjoyed dinner at the Strip House steakhouse inside Planet Hollywood.

*Thanks to Palms hotel mogul George Maloof, Funny Car veteran Cruz Pedregon returned to the top of the drag racing world on Sunday 16 years after winning his first NHRA title. He advanced to the quarterfinal round of the season-ending 44th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, Calif., then went on to win his third consecutive national event. George and the Palms have been co-sponsors of Cruz’s car with Coors for four seasons.

*There will be a star-studded turnout tonight for the 15th Annual Holiday Cactus Lighting Party at ethel’s chocolate in Henderson. Flamingo headliner comedian George Wallace will join with performers Clint Holmes and Zowie Bowie for a holiday classics sing-along. More than half a million lights will go on to illuminate the 3-acre botanical Cactus Garden. Ethel’s will also showcase its “Create Chocolate Create Hope” limited-edition collection benefiting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer charity, which will receive a $10,000 donation at the Santa Claus ceremony! Regular hours for families to gain free admission to stroll down the pathways and listen to local choirs in the Chocolate Wonderland begin Wednesday and run seven days a week until New Year’s Day.

Tonight’s tip

*The world’s largest casino convention, known as the G2E Global Gaming Show, kicks off its entertainment lineup tonight with a packed Orleans Arena concert starring legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist Kenny Loggins and the Alizma violin-playing triplets. The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers, along with slot machine makers Aristocrat, Bally, IGT and WMS, will play host to 10,000-plus delegates with the private concert. Kenny promises to play his mega-hits “Angry Eyes,” “Forever,” “Footloose,” “Danny’s Song” and “I’m Alright.”

Our bet, though, is that all eyes will be on the sexy Polish-born triplets who now live here in Vegas after winning their three musical scholarships to America. They play everything from pop hits to classical pieces in unison. … The rockers rule with Will & The Hi Rollers and special guests Delta Bombers at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel, while Underoath join with Saosin, The Devil Wears Prada and The Famine for a four-header at the House of Blues, with a 5 p.m. door opening for just $20!!!!! For a change of pace, comedian Gary Valentine headlines at the Improv in Harrah’s through Sunday with fellow comics Vince Morris and Howard Allen.

Tomorrow’s tease

Meet the mogul who wants to take over the Strip. We spend a day with Penthouse chief Marc Bell as he plots what to buy and what to change in Vegas. Yes, he’s bringing in the topless beauties as part of the deal! Thanks to Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld and a host of other comics, we’ve got the full, laugh-a-minute lineup for the annual three-day Comedy Festival ready to roll at Caesars Palace, and Playboy Playmate of the Year Sara Underwood goes “naughty but nice.”
