The G2E Global Gaming convention kicked off last night with a Kenny Loggins concert at The Orleans Arena -- and our hometown violin-playing Alizma triplets were signed on as his opening act. They all posed for these special, exclusive Vegas DeLuxe photos backstage after the concert.
The Alizma triplets, Aleksandra, Izabela and Monika, told Vegas DeLuxe: “We had a fantastic performance tonight! We all had such a great time. It was wonderful to play with Kenny. He is an incredibly talented musician.
Aleksandra sheds the violin and opts for the vocals.
“He was very nice to us and said he was very pleased with our performance. We all considered the concert a great success and the perfect way to start the gaming convention.”
G2E at the Las Vegas Convention Center showcases the newest games, technology, trends and developments that will drive the future of gaming. Leading executives from the international gaming entertainment industry will provide their insights into the current economic environment and focus on how best to navigate current challenges to be used as a springboard for future growth and innovation.

Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association, will moderate today’s panel discussion that includes Armin Karu, chairman of the management board for Olympic Entertainment Group; Gary Loveman, chairman, CEO and president of Harrah’s Entertainment Inc.; Thomas J. Matthews, chairman, president, CEO and COO of IGT; and Ernie Stevens Jr., chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association.
The World Series of Poker will present a series of five, 90-minute poker tournaments giving convention attendees a unique opportunity to play alongside some of the poker world’s biggest celebrities, including Scotty Nguyen, former main event champion, and Jean-Robert Bellande, $1 million tournament winner and Survivor: China contestant.
Monika of Alizma plays happily.
There will be two more Ultra Lounge Uniform Fashion Shows featuring the latest trends in uniform fashion wear from Centrifuge, Drai’s, Ghostbar, I Bar, Moon, Playboy, Rain, Rouge, Tryst, Voodoo and Zuri nightclub lounges worn by our city’s model-status servers.
And don’t miss the whimsical confectionary creation depicting Las Vegas and the gaming industry created by the Las Vegas-based pastry team at our Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, led by executive chef Heinz Lauer. The one-of-a-kind exhibit features hand-sculpted showpieces made from sugar, chocolate and spices. Entertainment runs from noon to 5 p.m. featuring Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience, Crystal Shawanda, “Mr. Dynamite” Larry Bagby and comedians Gary Valentine, Rich Natole, Eddie Ifft and Dick Hardwick.
