Over at N9NE restaurant in George Maloof’s Palms, chef Barry Dakake played host in his kitchen to Major League stars Mike Piazza, Ryan Howard and Tim Lincecum (who just won the National League Cy Young Award). Also dining in N9NE were UFC commentator Joe Rogan and New York Yankee Jason Giambi, who later went up to the Moon nightclub to join singer Jason Mraz after his concert in The Pearl theater there, along with Ryan, who is first baseman for the World Series champion Philadelphia Phillies.
Ryan Howard and friends.
Rapper Too Short, who began his career at just age 14, is all grown up now and brought a beautiful, stunning girl with him on a dinner-a-deux date. He ordered up N9NE’s rock shrimp starters for them to share and followed with lamb chops for himself and salmon for his date. They stuck to Fiji water, N9NE chardonnay and several espressos!
