Tickets went on sale at noon today for singer Fergie’s double-header on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. The Black Eyed Peas singer will be performing live in concert at The Venetian -- and then for midnight, she’ll control the countdown into Jan. 1 at Lavo in the neighboring Palazzo.

Fergie has promised to perform her hits including “Fergalicious,” “Clumsy” and “Glamorous,” in which she does a shout-out to yours truly. Since I already have my New Year’s Eve reservations for Lavo, I’ve no doubt she and I will do that one live! Fergie will be the official host for the night at Lavo after her Venetian set.

Former Kool and the Gang lead singer, trumpeter and Grammy Award winner Skip Martin also will entertain with “Celebration” and “Ladies Night” following Fergie in The Venetian Ballroom until New York City’s acclaimed DJ Reach spins the wheels of steel for the midnight countdown.

“It’s going to be an amazing evening, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Fergie perform live on New Year’s Eve,” said Jason Gastwirth, Venetian’s executive director of entertainment. “With a mixture of genres from pop and R&B to a DJ playing everyone’s favorite hits, our New Year’s Eve celebration will be a night to remember and one of the biggest parties of the year.”
