Smashing Pumpkins offer a tween-less time at The Pearl

So, Billy, what are you wearing, man? Is it Smashing Pumpkins approved?

For the older music set and non-Jonas Brothers fans this holiday weekend of turkey, trimmings and pumpkin pies, it was the appropriately named Smashing Pumpkins who took to the stage at George Maloof’s The Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms last night.

With such shows as Smashing Pumpkins and Jonas Brothers and jam-packed audience turnouts as these, it proved once again that there is no place on Earth like Las Vegas.

And next weekend it gets even bigger and busier with the Oscar de la Hoya fight, the Great Santa Run, the Las Vegas Marathon and the invasion of country and western superstars and cowboy fans for the National Finals Rodeo.
