It’s the third round of Dancing with the Stars tonight on ABC and, now that Kim Kardashian has been booted the Vegas connection remaining is hometown singing superstar Toni Braxton and regular Vegas visitor Lance Bass. Toni will dance with pro-partner Alec Masso in his fourth season with the show and Lance is partnered with Lacey Schwimmer in her series debut -- although she did win the 2007 World Swing Dance championship. Tonight they face the raucousness of the jive or the elegance of the Viennese waltz!

We'll also find out tonight if Olympic volleyball champion Misty May-Treanor has been forced to quit the show. As of this morning rumors were flying that she has been seriously injured.

Fellow DWTS contestant Brooke Burke was the first to slip the news that Misty has torn or ruptured her Achilles tendon and her appearances for the remainder of the series are "over.”

Misty and partner Kerri Walsh, married to Vegas's own Casey Jennings, became the first team ever to repeat back-to-back champs with their second Olympic gold medal in the Beijing Olympics this past August. Casey and Kerri had been cheering her on from the front VIP-rows at the ABC studios during the first two weeks of live broadcasts. We'll get the news at 9 p.m. Eastern Time tonight if Misty remains on or has to leave because of the injury. Misty is partnered with Maksim Chmerkovsky, who is the new choreographer for Steve Wynn's Le Reve aquatic-themed show here on the Strip. He is in his fifth season with the hit show.
