Burton’s sleight-of-hand produces beer from a barrel for Oktoberfest

For the fifth consecutive year master magician Lance Burton ensured it was not an illusion when he “tapped a keg” Sunday night to produce beer by the barrel-load! The Monte Carlo headliner kept the tradition alive during the Oktoberfest celebrations at the Hofbrauhaus kitty-corner from the Hard Rock Hotel on the corner of Harmon and Paradise. The Bavarian celebration of beer has become a worldwide celebration exported far away from the German homeland -- and is now the second most popular custom after Christmas tree decorations. A number of Vegas celebrities have “tapped the keg” during the annual party serving up the best brew and it will continue through until Halloween Eve when the Beatles look-alike group The Fab Four bring this years guzzling good times to an end!
