Bergeron says ‘nobody is going home’ on DWTS

Toni Braxton lives for another week on DWTS.

Three stars ranked lowest going into last night’s third elimination round of Dancing with the Stars. Eighty-two-year-old actress Cloris Leachman had 16 of the judges’ votes with celebrity chef Rocco DeSpirito at 20 and daytime soap queen Susan Lucci with 21 out of a possible 30. But the kickoff decisions are made by viewers voting, and it looked as if our hometown headliner, singer Toni Braxton and regular Vegas visitor Lance Bass would be safe at 22 points apiece for their Viennese Waltz dances the night before.

Then in the final moments host Tom Bergeron announced that, for the first time “nobody is going home,” because of Misty May Treanor’s KO’d exit due to a ruptured Achilles tendon we reported yesterday! But he warned that if they had axed somebody, it would have been Rocco and not Cloris, who won tremendous viewer support!

Next week the eliminations resume, and DWTS starts up again next Monday.
