Actress and model Molly Sims combined business with pleasure while on a Vegas shopping spree. The star of the former NBC Las Vegas Series hosted an intimate luncheon from the Canyon Ranch grill to celebrate the arrival of the new home gifts Chelsea Passage area at the tri-store Barney’s New York department store at the Palazzo. She wound up picking out several items from the third-floor display of eclectic furnishings and interior decorating ideas for her own new Los Angeles home.

“I truly have a passion for decorating and this proved to be the best place to go for ideas,” said Molly, who has appeared on the cover of our Greenspun Media Group sister VEGAS magazine. “The Palazzo is sophisticated has fabulous shopping and chic designs. I used it as the perfect escape from reality and work -– and I got the elite shopping experience too. I didn’t have to leave once -- it’s a true sanctuary!”

Molly checked into one of the luxurious super-spacious Lago suites and treated herself to platinum pampering at the Canon Ranch Spa Club before dining and partying for two consecutive nights at Tao’s new LAVO Mediterranean-Moroccan playground with two of her girlfriends. Chef Ludo Lefebvre set out his specialties for the beauties.

The new Chelsea Passage includes stunning bronze and shell collections from Parisian designers R&Y Augousti, glamorous fur pillows and throws from Adrienne Landau, chic ceramics by Johnathan Adler and glassworks by Caleb Siemon, John Pomp and Tracy Glower in addition to expert leatherwork from Graphic Image and Old World-inspired curiosities.
