Al Gore makes surprise stop in Vegas

Former veep Al Gore, out championing the cause of ‘global warming alerts’ paid a brief visit to Vegas -- and wound up at the home of my friends Michael and Jenna Morton of the N9NE Group restaurants and clubs at the Palms. Their star chef Barry Dakake was joined by Chef Marcus O’Brien to rustle up the taste treats. Among the Vegas VIPs attending were our County Commissioner Rory Reid, Senator Steven Horsford, gaming analyst Bill Lerner and his wife, Jennifer along with our fearless leader Danny Greenspun and his wife Robin, who chairs our annual Cine Vegas Film Festival.
