40 star chefs team up to raise funds for March of Dimes

For the third consecutive year the annual Signature Chefs of Las Vegas event showcases its creative cuisine samplings – and this year host chef Tom Moloney of AquaKnox at the Venetian has rounded up 40 of the finest culinary stars of the Strip. It's all to raise funds for the March of Dimes research to ensure all babies are born healthy and prevent birth defects. Both the Venetian and Palazzo hotels are sponsors of the giant gourmet feast.

The "best eating event in Vegas" gets underway tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the Venetian and will feature an all-star lineup of super chefs, including Eric Klein from Spago, Vincent Pouessel and Megan Romano from Aureole, Luciano Pellegrino from Valentino, Mark Sandoval from Postrio, Theresa, Peter and Ming Se Woo from Woo, Mark Andelbradt from Tao, Jose Mendin from Sushi Samba, Mike Minor from Border Grill and guest chefs from Emeril LaGasse, Charlie Trotter, Charlie Palmer, David Burke and Mario Batali’s restaurants.

My pal, Christian Kolberg, will handle the auction chores during the unforgettable dining experience. The only thing you need to bring is a great appetite!
