Pop-royal Justin Timberlake goes for the green with Ellen DeGeneres and all-star lineup tonight
By Robin Leach
It's been a great golf week for superstar singer Justin Timberlake with his debut celebrity tournament. Ellen DeGeneres, John O’Hurley and Josh Duhamel joined Olympic gold medal swimmer Amanda Beard and other VIPs at the TPC in Summerlin.
Said Justin: “I’d play golf at midnight if the course was lit up. I love this sport. Give me a choice between a live concert and a game of golf and I’ll take the clubs, even if it's more nerve-wracking. I just find golf the great equalizer.”

Ellen DeGeneres.
While here in Vegas the 27-year-old has been inseparable from long-time actress girlfriend Jessica Biel. A week ago they kicked off their Vegas visit appearing together at a "Get Out the Vote" rally downtown. Since then, Justin has been busy playing and promoting the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open for the PGA Tour. He played with John Daley, he met the wives of the other PGA golfers at the Hard Rock hotel casino, and he hit the links with Vegas golf star Tommy Armour III. Tonight though, he returns to the stage. He will host the biggest fundraiser of his charity week with a “Justin & Friends" concert at the Theater for the Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood resort casino. He has lined up rapper 50 Cent, R’n’B winners Boyz II Men, the hotter than hot Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, Esmee Denters and Leona Lewis. Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am will be guest DJ at the midnight after-party in the Prive nightclub there.
Amanda Beard
While here he has denied Internet buzz that he’s writing and producing galpal Jessica Biel’s debut album she’s working on. But don’t be surprised when Justin himself goes on stage (maybe with her) for some other surprises and duets – plus a solo spot with hits from Future Sex/Love Sounds and Justified. It will be one of those unforgettable Vegas nights of a unique one-time-only gathering of the biggest names in glamour and glitz.
Justin wears many hats as musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor – ‘Alpha Dog’ and ‘Love Guru’. He’s even partnered in the William Rast clothing line and plans an expansion of his Destino southern comfort food restaurant next year into the Monte Carlo resort here. However golf is his real passion – he took up the game with his step-dad while a teenager. “I love everything I do because they are creative -- but for me golf is the one thing you go out and forget about everything else,” he said.
Josh Duhamel
Luxe Life will be front and center tonight and we’ll have our full photo coverage right here on Monday -- along with the inside scoop of Justin’s party at Prive with all the stars following the show.
