Hotel tycoon George Maloof booked superstar power to claim a weekend victory in the entertainment sweepstakes. First up was the queen of R’n’B hip hop pop royal Mary J Blige. On the second night it was the first Vegas appearance in 25 years for newly reunited comedy cutups Cheech and Chong. Known for their pot-stunts in the 60s, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have gotten back together to tour again.
Celebrity photographer Erik Kabik was up front and center for this Luxe Life collection of candids with the comedy kings -- and also the previous night when he photographed the stunning Mary J. Blige.

Cheech Marin raced over to the Lavo restaurant and nightclub in the Palazzo after the second of the comedy shows -- and got there just as the kitchen was closing. Chef Ludo re-opened it to send out some favorite dishes before Cheech went up to the nightclub for Belvedere and Red Bulls.
