Kim Kardashian.

*Two rival nightclubs will rely on Hollywood star power to grab the spotlight this weekend. Sexy reality star Kim Kardashian, who has been a regular visitor here for several months this year returns to celebrate her birthday at the LAX nightclub in the Luxor. Kim, who has appeared this TV season on Dancing with the Stars and her own Keeping Up with the Kardashians, will blow out the 28 candles on her cake. Kim flies in from an Alabama hospital, where she visited boyfriend and New Orleans Saints football player Reggie Bush. He is there being treated for an injured left knee that required surgery after a game against the Carolina Panthers. Plans the couple had to romantically celebrate her birthday in London had to be postponed -- and Kim even had to wear a sterile hospital gown when she went into Reggie’s private room to help his recovery! Over at Prive inside the Planet Hollywood, actor Charlie Sheen from he hit CBS show Two and Half Men will make a rare hosting appearance -– and I have an inside tip that his new wife, Brooke Mueller, will be attending. The couple is expecting twins early next year. Although his divorce from actress Denise Richards was final in 2006 the couple have been feuding and fighting in and out of court over a bitter custody dispute involving their two daughters.

Jane Seymour and the cast of O.

*Actress Jane Seymour and two friends went backstage after watching Cirque du Soleil’s water-themed O show at the Bellagio. They met the cast and Jane told one of the O dancers her own career started out with dance, adding, “Since I wasn’t a great dancer, I went into acting instead.” Jane has told me previously that she sustained serious injuries to her feet while she was a London teenager, doing her ballet lessons -– and still suffers from some foot discomfort to this day!

*Congratulations to casino legend Jackie Gaughan as he celebrates his 88th birthday today (Friday). Only recently did he decide on semi-retirement by selling his shares in the downtown El Cortez, where he’ll have cake and champagne all afternoon for friends and fellow poker players.

*Today (Friday), the Vegas cast of the Mamma Mia musical at Mandalay Bay racks up 2,175 performances, making it officially the longest-running, full-length Broadway production to ever play the Strip. Congratulations again! The show moves out for good on the first week of January to make way for the spring arrival of the Disney Lion King musical.

*Halloween horrors kick off this weekend with some scary-fun events. Master of masks magician Jeff McBride will host the seventh annual Witches and Wizards Ball at his Wonderground club at the Palace Station after his incredible illusions in the SoundTrax showroom. He’ll first have the British editor of Pagan Magazine, Jon Randall, duplicate the final 1936 séance in an attempt to contact the spirit of legendary magician and escape artist Harry Houdini, which will end at midnight. Then Jeff will perform his own mystery show with several guest magicians and other illusionists … Please support the unique Monster Mash Car Bash at the Palace Station tomorrow (Saturday), rising funds for the FAST4KIDS charity sponsored by our Vegas Metro police officers to aid autistic children. It will feature a parade of Corvettes decorated for Halloween … The Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball at the Las Vegas Sports Center, on East Sunset Road, where the Strip meets McCarran Airport, promises erotica and the exotic with chained goddesses, lusty lingerie ladies, rubber-wearing dolls, studded freaks and five DJs on the “wheels of steel.” Bizarre Magazine described last year’s bash as, “The World’s Wildest Halloween Party,” and its not so much eye-popping as to what people wear and dress up in -- but how little they actually cover their bodies!

Now its time for me to brush off the cobwebs, shake up the spirits, look into my crystal ball and reveal the rest of the spooky highlights of another wild wanton Sin City weekend that we scream around here as the

Clint Holmes.

*Take a trip up to the Suncoast for the three-nights of special shows that my friend Clint Holmes is onstage for. You never know who of his many friends will drop by to surprise with music and song but musical director and Las Vegas Tenor Bill Fayne will definitely be there. Clint, himself, will do some Tribute to Broadway numbers, preview his new musical’s material and showcase what his New York State of Mind with the New York Pops Orchestra at the famed New York Carnegie Hall in early November.

A none-too-proud Parrothead.

*It’s the second consecutive weekend for Parrotheads and their royal leader, Jimmy Buffett, who plays with his Coral Reefer Band at the MGM Grand.

*An attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most consecutive wheel-chair backflips, and a world record for the largest number achieved in 60-seconds, will take place at the Doc Romeo Skatepark starting at 11.30 a.m. Aaron Fotheringham will try for the win in both categories -- and when he’s completed the task, the 10-event amateur Red Bull Vegas Am-Jam for skateboarders and BMX fans gets going.

*Hold onto your seatbelts because rockers STS9 are joined by the Pnuma Trio for a beat-pounding night at the Hard Rock Hotel, and Slaughter makes a killing of the “Wild Life” at the Sunset Station, while Chiodus and Silverstein “Escape the Fate” with Alesana in a four-act rock marathon at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay.

*Jamband Moksha perform at the Beatles Revolution ultra-lounge in The Mirage.
