Injured Saint Bush gets a leg up on Kim Kardashian’s birthday

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her New Orleans Saints running back beau, Reggie Bush, should have been in London this week celebrating her 28th birthday. Instead – as Luxe Life revealed here last week -- they spent it in doctor’s examining rooms and a Georgia hospital bed. The curvy, long-tressed Dancing with the Stars beauty had to dump her party frock and don a dowdy hospital gown to help him recover from a serious knee injury sustained 10 days earlier during the game against the Carolina Panthers!

Her unorthodox medical treatment must have worked, because the younger 23-year-old Reggie hobbled his way to Vegas at the weekend to be at her side for her LAX nightclub celebration at the Luxor. Here, though, she dressed in a forest-green, silk, floor-length halter-top gown and he was in a smart blue suit.

Sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian joined the couple along with socialite model Brittny Gastineau, model and DJ-turned-actress Caroline D’Amore, and Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin. Kim simply looked glamour-girl gorgeous. She’d gone, with her two sisters, after-hours, to hair-king Michael Boychuck at his Colors salon in Caesars Palace for the makeup and tresses transformation to silent-movie star beautiful. Also there was Showgirls stunner, actress Gina Gershon joining a long list of other after-hours stars Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton, Jamie Sigler from The Sopranos and Nicky Hilton.

Then it was onto the Company American Bistro at the Luxor for dinner with a growing group of family and friends, before pouting and posing on the nightclub’s red carpet. On arrival she was stunned with a jaw-dropping diamond necklace birthday gift from the ItsHot.com website. She popped it on immediately and kept it on for the night! The entire club crowd sang her “Happy Birthday to You” as a large, three-tiered, sparkler-laden lavender cake was rolled in for her -– and then it was dancing on the main stage to the sounds of DJ Hollywood until 2 a.m.

Kim, once married in a Vegas quickie wedding chapel ceremony to record producer Damon Thomas in 2004, was up early Saturday morning to hop a direct flight to Toronto to celebrate her birthday all over again there. She partied at yet another nightclub into the early pre-dawn hours yesterday (Sunday) before flying right back to Los Angeles at noon. Only a reality TV star could celebrate their birthday like this!

If I had two sips of a margarita at dinner, I’ll say ‘I’m drunk’ and then I’m definitely asleep before midnight.” The 147-IQ brunette is a busy entrepreneur with a fragrance line, a new fashion line and a possible singing career while her second movie Down in the Valley will be released next year.

She also admitted that she and Reggie have already discussed marriage. “We always talk about it and where we’re headed in life. This is it for me. After we get married, we’ll have kids. I want four and I hope I’m pregnant within two years time. Reggie has always been supportive of me through everything, and he has always loved me no matter what.”
