Will the day ever come when a men’s adult cabaret club, complete with topless dancers, winds up as part of our Strip casino hotel’s entertainment offerings? Eric Langan is the CEO and president of the NASDAQ publicly-traded Rick’s Cabaret -– and he’s convinced the answer is YES! When he opened his new super-sized club at the weekend with shock jock Howard Stern’s sidekicks Eric also revealed he’s one step nearer to making that happen.

He told me he’s wrapping up successful negotiations to have his Rick’s Cabaret sexy shapely sensual sirens featured at the Hard Rock Hotel’s new tower European topless pool next year! “Hard Rock already has the No. 1 hit in town with Rehab, and now we will be able to offer something just as exciting but extra-sexy at its new pool,” he said.

Eric said he’s convinced that if Caesars Palace President Arthur Goldberg was still alive and running his hotel empire, there would have been the first Rick’s Cabaret topless club in a Strip casino. “We had a deal for the club and the dancers to be up on the 19th floor of the main tower -- well away from the casino floor. It dealt with all the concerns that officials had,” he told me. “I am convinced that he would have made it happen. All the hotels want it to happen and it will one day -– sooner rather than later. It’s a good first step to bring the beauties to the pool.”

As they say, life is a Cabaret.

Howard’s producer, Gary Dell’Abate and Ronnie the Limo Driver flew out from New York for the grand opening of the new Rick’s, which took over the Scores nightclub space. (CLICK HERE for our original Luxe Life story last week). One of the weekend highlights was the Miss Howard TV beauty talent contest. Gary and Ronnie handled MC duties and judged the 15 competitors on their overall sexiness and dancing abilities. Then each girl was asked a “personality” question by the Sirius satellite radio stars, and based on audience applause and standing ovations they picked “Melrose” as the buxom brunette winner!

The 44-double delight club has been given a top to bottom makeover, with new furnishings and new interior designs and VIP hideaways. “We pride ourselves on being the best in the business with the finest dancers and we’ve achieved that in Vegas,” said Eric. Rick’s Cabaret fields some 100 deliciously decadent dancers most nights but increases up to almost 300 during peak convention business plus the 30 to 50 normal cocktail servers and waitresses that also increases up to 80 during high-demand periods.
