Star Surveillance: Ex-Henderson resident Tanya Tucker drops in on Cher

*Star Surveillance: Three-decade strong country music star, former Henderson resident and Basic High School student (1972-’73) Tanya Tucker loved Cher’s show at Caesars Palace and then went backstage to greet the star. Also there Diane Warren, songwriter of the Cher classic “If I Could Turn Back Time”- one of Cher’s most well-known hits, but Cher fondly remembered declining to record the song when she heard it the first time! … Retired five-time NBA champion Steve Kerr, now general manager of the Phoenix Suns, spent a sunny afternoon at the main Palms pool -– and stuck solely to bottled Fiji water. He was the most accurate three-point shooter in NBA history upon his 2003 retirement … NBA star Damon Jones of the Milwaukee Bucks partied at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace at a VIP table, where he sipped on Grey Goose vodka and Fiji water into the early morning hours….. Playboy Playmate Hiromi Oshima enjoyed dinner at the Strip House steak restaurant inside Planet Hollywood and was followed in to the same booth the next night by actor Simon Rex.
