Star Surveillance: Montel shuffles into Hard Rock Hotel

Television talk show host Montel Williams took time out on his Vegas visit to play poker at the new hedonistic ultra-luxurious Poker Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel … Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. celebrated a friend’s birthday at famous chef Steve Martorano’s fabulous Italian café in the Rio. Steve will be back again starting Oct. 16, but told me that Floyd danced to the disco music tableside and sang along to the Motown hits … Comedian Kevin Burke from the Golden Nugget’s Defending the Caveman show hit Jeff McBride’s new late-night magic and Wonderground club experience in the Palace Station, which has already hosted many famous names and faces including Lance Burton, Criss Angel and Jason England … L.A. Clippers all-star Baron Davis dined at the Asian- themed Social House restaurant in Treasure Island, polishing off mini-Kobe burgers, yellowtail jalapeno, seared tuna and a variety of sushi rolls. Davis and a pal finished off their feast with hot sake and green tea out on the Social House patio … Soaking up the sunshine at Venus Pool Club for a second consecutive day at Caesars Palace was actor Matt Lillard. He lounged on a plush poolside couch enjoying Belvedere Vodka and cranberry juice before taking a dip …. Grammy Award-winning comedian Lewis Black dined on Rao’s famous meatballs and the veal special with friends and production staff at the Caesars Palace outpost of the legendary NYC Rao’s restaurant.
