Executives pencil in possible date for Celine Dion’s triumphant return

We’re moving closer day-by-day to the possible return of Celine Dion to her Caesars Palace "home." It's highly probable that Celine will take over the vacated dates when Sir Elton John plays out his scheduled contract run of concerts. Sir Elton, who will play the Colosseum from Oct. 22 through Nov. 9 then has two more near month-long show sets in the early part of the new year. Depending when his shows and co-headliners Cher and Bette Midler pencil in their dates, it should be late fall when Celine could make the return move back here -- or if she takes a full-year break as she’s always threatened to do then it would be early 2010.

But the executives have sharpened pencils poised trying to juggle it all out on the schedules so we will wind up with the three top divas: Bette, Celine and Cher -- and that’s alphabetical order folks, so no complaints, eh?
