Pop prince Justin Timberlake has lined up the incredibly successful Jonas Brothers as just one of the superstar guests for his upcoming charity concert at Planet Hollywood’s Theatre for the Performing Arts. Luxe Life can also confirm exclusively that he’s also landed the hot-selling Maroon 5 rock group and country’s top favorites, Rascal Flatts. There will be even more A-list names of mega-recording artists over the next few weeks leading up to the fame festival which is set for Friday night, Oct. 17. Justin, who is expected to bring his new steady galpal, actress Jessica Biel, with him will be in Vegas earlier that week to host his new PGA Tour event that has been renamed The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
Justin is the 14th celebrity following in such famous footsteps as Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. to host a PGA Tour tournament. It will be played Oct. 13 thru Oct. 19 at TPC Summerlin over 72 holes, and will be broadcast on cable’s Golf Channel. The Shriners will also benefit from the highly anticipated Justin Timberlake & Friends concert.
The pop idol of “Sexy Back” fame narrowly missed injury at the weekend in a brawl that went badly wrong. His bodyguard grabbed a rather zealous female fan’s camera phone when she broke into a roped off VIP area at a New York ‘ Fashion Rocks’ party. Friends of the girl jumped Justin’s bodyguard and champagne glasses were smashed and drinks went flying amidst the mayhem in the Rainbow Bar. Justin was almost punched in the face while diving for cover with Beyonce, sister Solange, and Mariah Carey as Rihanna and Chris Brown ducked to avoid flying glass. Allegedly Justin’s bodyguard was evicted from the club after the fight.
