Gordie Brown headed back to Golden Nugget

Luxe Life has learned that entertainer Gordie Brown will become the new resident headliner at the Golden Nugget downtown when his current tour with Celine Dion ends!

The Canadian-born Vegas resident was originally headlining at the Venetian before Wayne Brady signed a long-term contract. Gordie then became the main headliner at David Saxe V Theater in the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood.

Fellow Canadian, Celine Dion personally picked the impressionist to open the North American leg of her current world tour that will end in Florida and Montreal next February. Gordie joined her when she kicked off her American debut Boston concert in mid-August.

Expect the official announcement within hours and doubtless both Gordie and his longtime manager, Bernie Yuman of Siegfried & Roy and Muhammad Ali fame, will say they're delighted with the new long-term contract they've signed with the resort hotel operation of Tilman Fertitta's Landry's restaurant group.
