Sexy undies are mandatory in Palms’ attempt to grab underwear world record

It will be as if the lacy-lingerie models have stepped right out of the pages of the Victoria's Secret and Frederick's of Hollywood underwear catalogs – and into the Palms pool this afternoon. Bras and panties are de rigeur today as Maverick magazine tries to break the Guinness world record for the most "underwear-only" guests at an open-air party. Some 2,500 have signed up for the exhibitionists delight!

Playboy playmate Alison Waite will host the officiated proceedings, which are actually governed by strict Guinness rules: only boxers, briefs or boxer briefs for men and lingerie, underwear and tops, baby doll sets or bra and panty sets for women. One "sexiest panty girl" will also be selected for a Maverick Illustrated tropical island photo shoot.

Naturally we’ll have the saucy, sassy provocative pin-up photos here at Luxe Life next week -- so long as my fingers don’t tremble from the excitement of it all.
