The star-studded party to celebrate the official gala opening of the new LAVO restaurant and nightclub at the Palazzo, was still rocking strong this morning -- and we’ve got the first photos! It attracted everyone from Entourage’s Kevin Connolly, with his own seven-pack of blonde and brunette beauties, to hip-hop king Busta Rhymes, who insisted on decorating me with his blinged-out necklace!
Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am left his dinner spot and jumped on the DJ booth to twist the “wheels of steel” as a surprise for the guests who included Paris Hilton and younger sister, Nicky, with boyfriend David Katzenberg; actor Jamie Foxx, Dancing with the Stars ace Stacey Keibler, ever-tanned George Hamilton and rock guitarist Slash, spotted in the rarest of times wearing and not-wearing his trademark sunglasses and black top hat.
It was an all-star glittering turnout and photographers Scott Doctor and Denise Truscello are assembling the full picture coverage for Monday’s Luxe Life, which will feature a beautiful jam-packed souvenir photo album of all the celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex, supermodel Bar Rafaeli, rival Ms. Nevada beauty queens Katie Rees and Veronica Grabowski, and fight announcer Michael Buffer.
The new LAVO -– owned by the same team who built the adjoining Tao nightlife property at the Venetian into America’s No. 1 grossing restaurant and club -- was overflowing with stars at the bar, in the lounge, in the restaurant, on the Strip-front dining patio and upstairs in the boutique nightclub. Tired of stargazing? There were two “voyeur” girls bathtub sponging each other seductively, and other beauties as living statues.
A custom-made Cadillac Escalade LAVO-mobile golf cart had been commissioned for the big party -- and will be used to shuttle celebrity VIPs between the two nightlife hotspots. Celebrities will autograph it over the next few weeks and then it will be auctioned off for charity at Christmas.
Luxe Life will be back tomorrow with the full celebrity wrap-up and a surprise conversation with Paris Hilton about two more new TV shows.
