DJ Am sent pre-flight photo to Hard Rock Hotel friend

I’ve obtained updated news on the cell-phone photo that DJ AM- Adam Goldstein -- sent right from beside the Learjet minutes before he boarded the ill-fated flight that killed four people and badly burned him and fellow-passenger Travis Barker. He sent it to a cell phone owned by a VIP cabana host bartender at the Hard Rock Hotel pool in Las Vegas -– and Adam’s pal first saw it BEFORE the crash. It was only the next day when he went to show it to friends at the resort that he learned of the fatal and tragic jet wreck and their miracle escape.

National Transportation Security Board inspectors are now saying that first examination of the airport tower tapes indicate that sparks came out of the plane’s underbelly from a possible tire blowout while speeding down the runway, and that the crew tried to abort the takeoff before it crashed without lifting off.

Tonight (Tuesday), DJ AM would have been playing at the Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace in a repeat two-turntable twist-off against fellow mix-master DJ Jazzy Jeff. It has obviously been cancelled. Luxe Life will continue to watch the medical progress of Travis and Adam, although we have been told that no new updates will be given until their medical progress and recovery that might last up to one year is well along.
