Incredible illusionists Siegfried & Roy have set the firm date for their magic comeback. Luxe Life has learned it will be on Saturday on Feb. 28 at the Keep Memory Alive gala to be held at the Bellagio as a Power of Love fundraiser for the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute downtown.
The two magical masters of the impossible confirmed the date as they left this week for a Royal tribute at the world famous London Palladium.
Thousands of fans worldwide have waited for this highly anticipated one-time only comeback performance. Siegfried commented: “It really is exciting and emotional for us. We have already been into our warehouse planning for the event. We are so excited to perform again for this one magical moment. It will be phenomenal and unforgettable. The magic is back ”
It will be the first time they have performed since Oct. 3, 2003 after the tiger accident that sent Roy to hospital where he “died” three times on the operating table from massive blood loss and brain damage. He has defied doctors since with his amazing recovery.
Siegfried & Roy have also agreed to host a VIP “Meet & Greet” party after their performance in front of 1,800 guests expected to fly in from around the world. Their one night performance -- with tickets for a front-row table of 12 going for $75,000 -- will never be repeated and is guaranteed to make show-business history. It will be taped for later HD-TV distribution worldwide with the proceeds also going to the charity.
Their starchef friend Wolfgang Puck will dazzle with a special dinner working alongside fellow chef extraordinaire Todd English and the Jean-Philippe Patisserie will serve amazing dessert selections. It’s also believed that Cirque founder Guy Laliberte has agreed to help produce the evening’s entertainment spectacle with cast members from his different Cirque du Soleil shows on the Strip.
Their visit to London this week is for Sunday’s concert for members of the British Royal Family at the prestigious variety theater in the British capital. The legendary duo will not perform although they will be onstage for presentations from other world magicians paying homage. Siegfried tells me they will go onto Germany to meet with medical experts checking up on Roy’s ongoing treatment and progress and then they will spend a few vacation days in Paris.

They will return in time to attend their 18th annual K-9 dog show benefit for Las Vegas Metro Police at the Orleans Arena on Oct. 19. On Oct. 14 we will announce details of this year’s Dec. 6 Great Santa Marathon for Opportunity Village -- Roy has said he will walk the entire 5K route.
