DJ AM released from hospital; Barker expected out in two weeks

By Robin Leach

In a very surprising move, Adam Goldstein -- DJ AM, a partner in the LAX nightclub at the Luxor -- is expected to be released from the Doctors Hospital burn unit in Georgia later this afternoon (Friday). He is to be flown to Los Angeles tonight for continuing medical treatment. Its exactly one week to the day that a Learjet bringing him home after a South Carolina concert crashed and burst into flames.

Adam's pr spokesman confirmed a report from MTV news of the change of venue for treatment. In addition, record producer Jermaine Dupri, who is on tour with girlfriend, Janet Jackson, reported to MTV that he's been told that Travis should also be ready for a transfer back to Los Angeles in two weeks time. Ex-wife Shanna Moakler has said she will remain at the hospital until then and will fly home with him to California.

No other information as to their conditions has been revealed -- but one can surmise this is a major breakthrough in progress and ongoing recovery.

Luxe Life will continue to monitor the story for further developments.
