Father-son feud simmers for Bradley, Bryan Ogden

Vegas food writer and acclaimed gourmet critic John Curtas has shone the spotlight on a major kitchen feud between father and son chefs Bradley Ogden and Bryan Ogden. The two worked alongside each other at the self-named Caesars Palace fine-dining establishment before a fiery blow-up caused Bryan to walk out. He wound up opening the new Company America bistro in the Luxor, but then moved on to open his very own restaurant, the new overnight hip hot star-studded spot in Hollywood called Apple, which also features a dance lounge with the fashionable and stunning Pussycat Dolls recording star dancers!
On his eatinglv.com Web site, John says: “One of the worst kept secrets in the Vegas restaurant world over the past four years was the frosty relationship between them. Bryan pulled up stakes and went to carve out his own name among the food cognoscenti in Los Angeles and distance himself from his dad’s name and legacy. Now in an interview with Nation’s Restaurant News Bryan points out, “My dad is not involved with this restaurant. We have different food and its time to break away on my own. I’m tired of making him money.” Says John: “Ouch!”
Curtas, who will turn up as celebrity judge on this coming Sunday’s Iron Chef Food Network show, will host a screening party at the Marche Bacchus restaurant here along with a surprise dueling chef’s battle -- but not Bryan and Bradley! I will try to moderate some of the sparks sure to fly!
