Mariah Carey in town after all for first anniversary with Nick Cannon

Superstar singer Mariah Carey did fly into Las Vegas to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with working hubby Nick Cannon, as I hinted at in my Strip Scribbles column this morning. The newlyweds checked into the Palms and enjoyed a romantic two-hour dinner at chef Kerry Simon’s Palms Place restaurant to celebrate the anniversary. Hospitalized Tonight Show host Jay Leno has officially canceled his two standup comedy gigs at The Mirage scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night.
