Country music weekend in Las Vegas kicks off tonight when a host of stars perform for the inaugural “Guitar Pull” benefiting the Boys Hope Girls Hope charity. Country singer Jack Ingram hosts the event at Ovation showroom in Green Valley Ranch, and included in the lineup is “Stealing Cinderella” singer Chuck Wicks direct from his safe placing in this week’s Dancing With the Stars.
Chuck’s girlfriend, country singer and pro dancer Julianne Hough, is appearing in concert in Utah, but the two will reunite here tomorrow to get in rehearsals for Monday’s ABC telecast. Also singing their hearts out will be James Otto, former Lonestar frontman Richie McDonald, Randy Houser, Chris Young and Adam Gregory.
It’s a casual and fun setting with these country music favorites relaxing and entertaining. They’ll perform solo and have promised to jam together -- and who knows how long that will last into the night! Click back here tomorrow for the full weekend rundown of the Academy of Country Music events, including the free two days of concerts at Fremont Street Experience and the Sunday night telecast of the 44th ACM Awards hosted by Reba McEntire and Monday’s night salute to George Strait.
