Each month, as you know from reading Vegas DeLuxe, The Playboy Club at the Palms selects a model search contest winner. By year’s end, we’ll have 12 beauties for a 2010 calendar, but they’ll compete against each other for the big title. Meantime, the March contestants have been vetted, and now we’re awaiting the announcement of the next winner just days away.

Our contributing photographers Erik Kabik and Joe Fury were amid the bountiful beauty, the blondes and the brunettes, when Playboy Playmate Alison Waite (Miss May 2006) hosted along with Playboy Club hostess and model Denise Pernula, who was featured in the magazine’s photo layout of the Vegas club’s stunners.

The new Miss March will win $1,000, plus Palms spa, hotel and restaurant gifts, and for the next month, she will be the face of the club in all of its advertising. The 12 winning girls will get a shot at stardom if they are selected for a Playboy magazine layout. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be Miss April, drop by the club to register.

Meantime, My Name Is Earl actress Jaime Pressly was part of a 10-girl-strong bachelorette party at Rain in the Palms. For some unknown reason but obviously part of the pre-wedding blowout fun, Jaime wore a 1970s-style Afro wig. Hanging out nearby in VIP was playmate Alison Waite and NFL star Trai Essex of the Pittsburgh Steelers at another dance-floor table. Comedian Jon Lovitz hit The Playboy Club as part of his night out on the town.
