All weekend long, online gossip sites were abuzz about a possible final breakup between Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson, who’ve played out their dramatic relationship of turmoil and trouble coast to coast -- including here in Las Vegas. Gossip guru Perez Hilton reported that Lindsay confirmed the end of the relationship, stating, “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.” Sure enough, Samantha was solo last night when she played guest DJ at Prive in Planet Hollywood. Before her session behind the wheels of steel, she even sat alone for dinner at the Strip House texting while drinking water and eating the filet steak!

*Expect dozens of brunette beauties to parade around in their underwear tonight at an evening saluting pinup legend Bettie Page in Bugsy’s Night Club off the Strip on West Sahara. Aspiring models will strip down to their bras, garter belts and stockings to compete in a contest judged by legendary burlesque queen Tempest Storm, who worked with the perfect-sized 36-24-36 Bettie in the 1955 movie Teaserama. As some of you know, I tracked down Bettie for my show Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous after she’d mysteriously vanished for years, and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who watched our TV program, wrote about discovering her again, reuniting her with family and assisting in getting long overdue royalties paid to her.

*It was a $300 investment back in 1954 when the legendary Serendipity 3 ice cream shop with just four tables, 16 chairs and a giant coffee machine opened in New York. The beloved eatery attracted such block-long lines that the three owners moved it into a two-story townhouse. It has served everybody from Cher to Cameron Diaz to Barbra Streisand, and it has just opened its first branch here. The outlet began life last night at Caesars Palace, and I’ve got a Friday lunch date there to see if it’s the same as one of my all-time favorite Manhattan haunts. Pop artist Andy Warhol used to exchange paintings rather than pay the bill. It’s been filmed many times for Sex and the City, and I’m told that it’s whitewashed walls, 19th century vintage furniture and Tiffany-style glass lamps have all been re-created here.
