One of the charitable endeavors of the Miss USA 2009 pageant contestants that will be featured on the live broadcast April 19 is their visit to our beloved Opportunity Village. The intellectually challenged teen and adult clients joined with 16 of the beauty queens to paint a nearly 30-foot mural for the OV Art Enrichment Program.

Our contributing photographers from the Miss Universe Organization were on hand to capture the close-up artwork of Miss Arizona, Miss Utah, Miss California, Miss Connecticut, Miss Texas, Miss Alaska and Miss West Virginia.

The completed mural will be seen on the NBC telecast.

“Both the ladies and our clients had a great time. It was a blast,” Steven Miller of Opportunity Village told Vegas DeLuxe.
