Real estate mogul Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe pageants, arrived in Las Vegas last night for a 24-hour visit and talked on camera with Robin Leach.

The Donald discussed the nation’s economic slowdown and its affect on Las Vegas, and also his Miss USA Pageant being broadcast tonight around the world on NBC from the Theatre for the Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood.

The Miss USA Pageant starts at 4 p.m. local time today but airs later for us, the Pacific Time audience. Vegas DeLuxe will blog live throughout the show and then at 6 p.m. post the newly crowned winner. Shortly after the coronation, we’ll also have the first one-on-one interview with the news Miss USA 2009.
