Photo Gallery: Peepshow premiere attracts an all-star turnout

If Lindsay Lohan says yes to the Peepshow producers’ offer to co-star in the new adult cabaret revue at Planet Hollywood, she’s already got a new BFF and booster in headliner Mel B. The twosome was inseparable before, during and after Saturday’s premiere and celebrated until 3 a.m. yesterday at Prive.

Mel took Lindsay under her wing as they left for the party held in Planet Hollywood’s sixth-floor pool court. I talked with Lindsay as they walked along, and she told me that she’d feel comfortable doing the Kelly Monaco striptease routines when Kelly returns to General Hospital in three months as the first revolving Bo Peep guest co-star.

Click HERE for our first report late Saturday when Lindsay watched the show at a front-and-center VIP table near the stage. Lindsay hung out with Mel in Mel’s dressing room before and after the show.

Kelly was the first to arrive at Prive with real estate mogul Donald Trump, who told me he loved the show. Kelly celebrated with chardonnay, and The Donald stuck to Diet Coke. He called it quits about 1 a.m., and she stayed for another 30 minutes. Mel B and Lindsay stayed at their VIP table until 3 a.m., and even though she’s gone through rehab, LiLo had vodka with soda water and cranberry juice. Mel had her usual merlot.

My spywitness reported: “They spent the entire time laughing and joking. They are obviously the best of friends and have become very close. Lindsay could do this, and Mel would ensure that it would work out well for everybody involved.”

Peepshow’s premiere was a huge success from start to finish, and celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton was dragged onstage by one of the dancers. He narrowly avoided being handcuffed and daubed with pink paint in one erotic bed scene involving Kelly!

Peepshow's Kelly Monaco, Jerry Mitchell and Mel B at the Peepshow premiere in Planet Hollywood.

Now undeniably the sexiest new show in Las Vegas with the Strip’s hottest dancers, Peepshow kicked off with magnificent Mel and cutie pie Kelly walking the red carpet with Peepshow creator, director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Also on the carpet were The Donald, Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller, Chris Noth, Bob Guiney and his wife Rebecca Budig and Matthew Morrison of the new Fox series Glee! There was a pre-party in Living Room Lounge in Prive, where I talked with the stars and shot our exclusive photos.

Also attending the world premiere were Laura Bell Bundy of Broadway’s Legally Blonde, Broadway stars Susan Anton and Leigh Zimmerman and local headliners Zowie Bowie, Frank Marino and Trent Carlini.

The raves were unanimous. The star-studded audience was on its feet cheering for Jerry at the end when he walked onstage to join his cast. He told me afterward he was thrilled at how well it had turned out and how great the response had been.

Donald Trump and Robert Earl at Peepshow.

Planet Hollywood owner Robert Earl, who played host, told me: “This was a sensational night and a wondrous weekend for our casino. The show is absolutely the hottest on the Strip -- the sexiest! The dancers are beautiful, the costumes are incredible, Mel and Kelly are super. It’s the best medicine for tired eyes you can imagine!”

Perez tweeted throughout the show, saying the entire production was “awesome.” He sat in front of me but turned to tell me: “This is fantastic. This is what Vegas needed.”

I wholeheartedly agree! The show is incredible in every respect. It’s a super showbiz shot in the arm to revive everything that’s gloomy in the world!

Perez Hilton at Peepshow.

Here’s what else Perez told his readers:

Peepshow is a must-see! Thank God it was put together by a gay man, the very talented Jerry Mitchell. Peepshow is young, hip, sexy and super super fun! Everything you’d want on a fun night out in Vegas. We’ve had the pleasure -- on more than one occasion -- of checking out Mitchell’s annual New York City benefit Broadway Bares, which features stars of the Great White Way wearing next to nothing and performing scandalous routines to raise money for AIDS research and treatment. Peepshow takes that concept and pumps it with steroids!

“It’s a multimillion-dollar production, and it’s thrilling to watch Mitchell’s creativity on display. There are some amazing numbers in the show! Finally, the gays have something fabulous they can all go see! It’s Showgirls come to life, and we say that as a big compliment. Peepshow is a naughty interpretation of fairytales -- with lots of skin. Boobies and muscle and music and dance! Our favorite routines were the pumpkin scene, the milk number and the bathtub sequence. While Mel B and Kelly Monaco are both fabulous in Peep, Josh Strickland (formerly the lead in Disney’s Tarzan on Broadway) steals the show. Can’t wait to see it again!”
