One of the major culinary events on the Las Vegas calendar -- and eagerly anticipated by foodies throughout our valley -- returns to the fabulous Flamingo tonight for the fourth consecutive year. It’s the 19th Annual Epicurean Affair, and it features more than 100 of our city’s top chefs, restaurants and bars.

The food festival is spread out over the lush 15 acres of the Flamingo’s tropical oasis pool areas. Among the star chefs participating this evening are Iron Chef winner Kerry Simon from Simon at Palms Place, Emeril Lagasse with his New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand and Bradley Ogden from his same-named restaurant at Caesars Palace.

Other participants in the Nevada Restaurant Association and the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association event include Fiamma from MGM Grand, Giorgio’s from Mandalay Place, Il Mulino from the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Lavo at the Palazzo, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at the Flamingo, Valentino at The Venetian, Red Square at Mandalay Bay, Gaylord from The Rio and Sin City Brewing Company’s new Flamingo outpost. There are dozens more, including our good friends from the lakeside Marche Bacchus wine emporium and restaurant.

All will be serving up samples of their taste treats for the 2009 Epicurean Affair! In previous years, food fans who spent the entire night grazing in the garden of kitchen kings have mobbed the event. For more information, click HERE.
