Carmen Electra to celebrate her birthday and kick off another pool season

Less than a week after her 37th birthday, sexy starlet Carmen Electra keeps her party going here this weekend when she kicks off the new “Daylife Sundays” at Wet Republic in MGM Grand. Carmen started her birthday hi-jinx last weekend at the Coachella music festival in Indio, Calif., near Palm Springs in advance of her mid-week birthday.

The Ohio beauty born Tara Leigh Patrick is engaged to rocker Rob Patterson, and he is expected to be on her arm this weekend at Wet Republic. Two weeks ago, she stunned ABC’s Dancing With the Stars judges when she broke the rules and did a bump and grind stripper pole dance routine atop their off-limits desk!

Carmen has just been tapped as a judge for a new reality series, Mission Hollywood, which pits contestants against one another acting in re-created movie scenes, with the winner landing a role in the next Twilight movie Eclipse, the third in the series of four. The second Twilight flick New Moon is currently wrapping production in Vancouver, B.C., and helmed by American Pie director Chris Weitz.

When Carmen turns up at Wet Republic on Sunday, she’ll have her very own red carpet and has promised to pose for fan photos and autographs before retreating into her VIP cabana. She’s also expected to be in the audience for the Britney Spears Circus Tour show there tomorrow night.
