Hospitalized Tonight Show host Jay Leno has officially canceled his two standup comedy gigs at The Mirage scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night. The Mirage box office began notifying ticketholders as of 8 a.m. today and told prospective buyers that the shows were canceled because Jay has been hospitalized.

Jay is expected to return to his NBC studios in Burbank, Calif., to resume The Tonight Show on Monday. It’s the first time in his 17-year run as host that he has missed two consecutive nights. Reruns have been aired in his absence.

Click HERE for our breaking news story yesterday when he checked himself into a Burbank hospital after complaining of “not feeling well.”
