Strip Scribbles: Unwritten Law, Danny Masterson party at Palms

The band Unwritten Law joined the crowd at the weekly Ditch Fridays at the Palms. Vocalist Scott Russo, guitarist Steve Morris, bassist Pat Kim and drummer Dylan Howard arrived about 4 p.m. and hung out in a VIP cabana poolside. They enjoyed Fiji water, Ketel One cocktails and Miller Lite. Actor and DJ Danny Masterson had dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in a group of six friends before his set at AM Fridays in Rain. Danny, aka DJ Mom Jeans, enjoyed bone-in filet and creamed corn.

Danny began spinning the wheels of steel after midnight. Spotted in Rain were actress Jenna Elfman at the VIP table on the main stage sipping Fiji water and Ketel One, 24 actress Mary Lynn Rajskub, Lost actor Matthew Fox and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney.

Also at the Palms, newly single singer Usher was at a VIP table in Moon. He arrived with two friends after 3 a.m. and drank Fiji water before leaving an hour later.

*Kevin Federline was at the Hard Rock Hotel filming his new VH1 reality show, arriving about 5 p.m. and stopping by the pool with camera crew in tow. After filming, K-Fed left and returned later that night for a party in Carey Hart’s Wasted Space, where girlfriend Victoria Prince, 13 friends and he sipped Grey Goose and Red Bulls from the comped bottle service and then reportedly left no tip -- click HERE for our Las Vegas Sun colleague Melissa Arseniuk’s tipping scandal report. K-Fed has made headlines as of late for his weight gain.

Star surveillance

Theory of a Deadman and a band member of Godsmack raced at Pole Position Raceway opposite the Palms before their Saturday night show as part of Crue Fest 2 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel. … Superstar couple Jay-Z and Beyonce was spotted at dinner at Lavo in the Palazzo. Also at dinner was Fast and Furious actress Mirtha Michelle, who later hosted Lavo’s Seduxion night upstairs and sipped Grey Goose Pear cocktails and danced at her VIP table. … Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer, in town for his annual Bad Boys Hockey Tournament, partied at Tao with Cuba Gooding Jr. and a large group of sports and entertainment figures spanning six tables in the VIP moat area. Also at Tao was singer Ray J surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women and Kevin Federline and Victoria Prince. You think they left a tip at Tao?
