NBC’s America’s Got Talent is traveling to Planet Hollywood in October. Planet Hollywood officials said host Nick Cannon made the announcement on last night’s episode. The spin-off will air for at least 10 weeks starting Oct. 7 and share the Chi Showroom with Peepshow starring Holly Madison. Jerry Springer, who hosted the second and third season of AGT, will host the 10-week run.
A Planet Hollywood official said that tickets will go on sale at Ticketmaster and the hotel’s Web site today. Rio headlining magicians Penn & Teller and frequent Las Vegas performers LMFAO were the celebrity guests on yesterday’s show.

They are competing for $1 million and the opportunity to headline a Las Vegas show in October.
