Strip Scribbles: Third nightclub at Wynn properties next year?

I’m told we can expect a third nightclub at Steve Wynn’s properties next year. Apparently, Steve wants to replace the existing Strip-side arrivals area of the Encore with a nightclub featuring a pool and have it ready for next summer.

Steve reportedly wants a new, less wasted-space entrance to the property and to build a pedestrian bridge on the Strip over the driveway into the parking garage. Some enquiring minds are already asking if this new complex will affect Switch just inside and the venture with nightclub czar Victor Drai and Tryst.

*I was sad to get an email overnight that our veteran cinema king Tony Curtis had been hospitalized in New York after being taken ill before a book signing there. However, I was happy to hear that his wife, Jill, says he should be well enough to travel back to Las Vegas within the week.

Jesse won a Miss Hawaiian Tropic beauty pageant but decided to become a XXX-rated actress. She has been a regular Las Vegas visitor and has won several industry awards while attending the annual Adult Entertainment Expo Awards at Mandalay Bay the past four years.

The show is being produced by Fantasma Magic’s Roger Dreyer, who told me: “In the past, such greats as Johnny Thompson, Carl Ballantine, Norm Nielson, John Calvert and Marvyn Roy have been honored at the standing ovation shows. The night is so special because it is friends performing for friends above and beyond.”

In addition to being a top magician and hypnotist, Peter was Lance Burton’s manager when he initially signed with the Monte Carlo.

KISS guitarist Paul Stanley dined at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms with his wife, son and a family friend. After their meal, Paul invited executive chef Barry Dakake to hang out with the group. Also dining at N9NE was Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden. … Shaquille O’Neal of the Cleveland Cavaliers and boxing great Oscar de la Hoya filmed part of Shaq’s new ABC series Shaq Vs over lunch at chef Kerry Simon’s restaurant in Palms Place, where he took both athletes into the kitchen and taught them how to really make a knockout hamburger!
