America’s Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff gave a thumbs-up verdict at Holly Madison’s adult-cabaret burlesque spectacular Peepshow in Planet Hollywood. The former Baywatch and Knight Rider hero stayed after the show to meet Holly and the cast and congratulate them on their performance and success.
Rumors continue to swirl that Holly will be the first celebrity guest performer to be renewed for another three-month contract. Holly followed in the footsteps of General Hospital star Kelly Monaco.
*I’m reliably told that the entire Cirque du Soleil cast for the new Elvis Presley musical production at MGM’s CityCenter has now arrived and will start final rehearsals in a few weeks. They are using the downtime to become familiar with Las Vegas and organize their housing needs. Click HERE for coverage by our Vegas DeLuxe Editor Don Chareunsy when the first 22 members of the 75-strong cast arrived from Montreal headquarters on Aug. 8. Watch for our stories about the two creative heads of the production as they reveal behind-the-scenes secrets and their plans for the show.
Cirque du Soleil performers from Ka, Mystere and Believe welcome cast members of the new Elvis-inspired Cirque show upon their arrival at McCarran Airport.

Jermaine O’Neal of the Miami Heat and Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets were seen enjoying the music, and the next morning, they joined friends at Hash House a Go Go for a brunch of bacon, avocado and swiss scrambled eggs, vanilla waffles and a giant stack of buttermilk pancakes.

Rapper Ice-T and his buxom blonde wife Coco took over the private wine room at Strip House in Planet Hollywood, but Ice-T stuck with Pepsi! He enjoyed the veal T-bone, while Coco had a glass of merlot with her lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail. … Desperate Housewives actress Kathryn Joosten was at Terry Fator’s Mirage show before the headliner raced to make an appearance at the AFAN AIDS benefit in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. (Click HERE for Don and Senior Editor John Katsilometes’ coverage of the Black & White Party.) … Marilyn Manson barred all photographers from snapping his concert at The Joint, but I did discover that Carey Hart and pal DJ AM watched the show. Tomorrow’s teases
Our weeklong Michael Jackson coverage leading up to his 51st birthday Saturday and the tribute concert at the Palms continues as we delve into the tortured, final, chaotic hours inside the Los Angeles mega mansion where he died. We’ve also got photos of our hometown hero UFC fighter Chuck Liddell in his first-day rehearsals with newcomer partner Anna Trebunskaya for the Sept. 21 two-hour ABC Season 9 premiere of Dancing With the Stars. We’ll catch up with Green Day in concert and use our Counter Intelligence to report on Cuisine Carnivale at The Venetian and Treasure Island mogul Phil Ruffin’s new taste treats at his just opened Khotan restaurant.
