Reality TV star, singer and actress Kelly Osbourne is well known to Las Vegas friends and nightclubs for her many visits. Now she’s going under the spotlight for Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars that premieres Sept. 21 with a two-hour telecast. Vegas DeLuxe has the first photos of her rehearsing with pro partner Louis Van Amstel, who returns for his fifth season of the top-rated ABC series.
We’d hoped the photos of Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond would be ready today, but they were shot just yesterday and as yet haven’t been processed -- hopefully over the weekend! Donny flew to Los Angeles on Tuesday to meet the other competitors and shot the opening title sequences yesterday for the new season. “It was very exciting,” he tweeted.
We also have the first photos of pop star Aaron Carter, another Las Vegas regular, partnered with Karina Smirnoff, returning for her seventh season, and also my pal George Hamilton’s son Ashley, who is following in dad’s dance steps on the show. Ashley, a singer-songwriter and standup comic who has popped up several times here on our nightlife scene, is partnered with Edyta Sliwinska, the only professional to compete in all nine seasons of the program.

Meantime, Kelly will have her dad, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, and her mother, TV personality Sharon Osbourne, rooting for her from the audience on the debut night. Kelly was just 16 when she appeared in The Osbournes with her famous family. The series won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2002, the same year Kelly released her debut album Shut Up!, which included a cover of Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach.”
