Congratulations to Kelli Jackson, who was crowned the 2010 Miss Rodeo America today at The Orleans as part of the National Finals Rodeo events. Last year’s Miss Rodeo America, Meagan Ridley, crowned Kelli, who is Miss Rodeo Mississippi, the new winner. It was the 55th annual pageant.

Our local rocker Vince Neil could change his band Motley Crue’s hit song “Girls, Girls, Girls” into “Cowgirls, Cowgirls, Cowgirls.” These lovely ladies in their fine riding splendor definitely made for the prettiest photos of the day in Las Vegas!

Our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue was on hand for the royal moments, with 22-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo announcer Bob Tallman handling the emcee duties.

The first runner-up was Miss Rodeo Idaho Freya Ford, second runner-up was Miss Rodeo South Dakota Courtney Smith, third runner-up was Miss Rodeo Arizona Taryn Bradley, and fourth runner-up was Miss Rodeo Tennessee Amber Dell.
