Start your engines … again! Pole Position Raceway officials will open a 50,000-square-foot indoor speedway in Summerlin today. It’s Pole Position Raceway’s second Las Vegas facility.
“Everyone at Pole Position Raceway appreciates how well the Las Vegas community has embraced the indoor karting experience,” said Kurt Busch, NASCAR champion and company shareholder. “To be able to expand to a second location in Las Vegas in our current economy is an incredible achievement!”

The second Pole Position Raceway is opening two years after the first location. PPR’s original location opposite the Palms is a 60,000-square-foot, climate-controlled entertainment experience filled with exclusive racing memorabilia and state-of-the-art videogames.
PPR’s new location will closely resemble its original facility, boasting all of the same modern conveniences. Most importantly, it also will use the company’s Italian-made, eco-friendly electric race karts. Pole Position Raceway currently has nearly 60 of these race karts, which can reach a speed of as fast as 45 mph, and will have another 40 in use at the new location.
More than 200,000 participants have raced nearly 1 million miles around the company’s quarter-mile, European-inspired indoor track at its location opposite George Maloof’s Palms Place.

“We look forward to expanding the reach of indoor karting,” said Brad Mark, managing partner of Pole Position Raceway Las Vegas. Kurt, supercross champions Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed and ESPN/ABC personality Jamie Little are among the celebrity investors of Pole Position Raceway Las Vegas.
