Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor have split

Zowie Bowie stars Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor have decided to end their personal relationship -- and longtime engagement -- but continue as a professional duo. I have sat on this story for more than a week out of respect for them, but it’s now leaked, so it’s time to report the break-up.
The split, which I tweeted earlier this evening, is sad because it involves good friends, but everything will work out well. Marley ended their eight-year engagement when she became involved with a Las Vegas orchestra conductor.
Zowie Bowie’s Vintage Vegas shows continue Sundays at the Monte Carlo, as does their free Friday and Saturday performances at The Pub. One change to Vintage Vegas is that the song “Get Me to the Church on Time” is dropped from the show.
You can’t mix professional and personal, as one always suffers, I was told. I had asked Chris about their situation at the Great Santa Run last weekend, as I hadn’t seen them around together as much as before. He confirmed what I had suspected weeks ago but asked me to hold off until the holidays.
