Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley has arrived in Las Vegas in advance of the launch of the Cirque du Soleil spectacular Viva Elvis this week at Aria at MGM’s CityCenter. She partied with friends and enjoyed Dom Perignon until 3 a.m. at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel over the weekend. Muse, who had performed to a soldout crowd in The Joint earlier in the evening, was at an adjoining table winding down from the second night of Holiday Havoc.
Lisa Marie’s mom Priscilla Presley is due to arrive in time for tomorrow’s Viva Elvis media viewing, which will start previews Friday after Wednesday’s grand gala opening of Aria. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and the world premiere is expected at the end of January after a month of previews.
Viva Elvis has its own specially built theater at Aria, plus a Gold Lounge that is a tribute to Elvis and his Graceland home complete with cocktails and a dining menu fit for the King. It’s a partnership between Cirque and The Light Group.
*Playboy’s Miss January 2010 Jaime Edmondson is a one-time Miami Dolphins cheerleader and The Amazing Race finalist. Now she’s baring all for Hugh Hefner’s magazine and made her first Las Vegas appearance over the weekend with a meet-and-greet at The Playboy Store in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Contributing photographers Erik Kabik and Scott Harrison were there for this photo gallery as the fans mobbed Jamie as she signed copies of the magazine and her glossy photos.

Carey Hart's new tattoo of his singer wife Pink.
*Our hometown stunt motorcycle champion and Wasted Space owner Carey Hart has certainly proved his undying love for his wife, recording star Pink. Originally married in 2006, they broke up in 2008 but reconciled this year after filming a music video. Yesterday, Carey used Twitter to send out a photo of Pink that he had tattooed on his leg in Day of the Dead fashion. It was his first tattoo session with artist Franco Vescovi. He tweeted: “Wait till you see it in person! So insane!!!”
Tye Strickland and Melissa Rycroft.
*Congratulations to Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor beauty Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland, who were married over the weekend in a private ceremony in Mexico, exactly as they told us while enjoying a pre-honeymoon romp here at The Venetian and Palazzo last month. Melissa, now a Good Morning America correspondent, walked barefoot down the aisle and wore a strapless Alfred Angelo gown. Her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani and The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris flew in for the ceremony.
Larry the Cable Guy.
*It’s a tradition he likes to keep. Larry the Cable Guy started out on his road to fame and fortune at the small Orlando, Fla., comedy club Bonkerz. Whenever he performs in a city that has a Bonkerz, he always stops in to remember the early days. After his shows at Mandalay Bay to wrap up the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo weekend, he turned up at Bonkerz in Palace Station and performed an impromptu 30-minute set.
Gary Oldman with the cast of Cirque du Soleil's Ka at MGM Grand.
*Actor Gary Oldman brought his mother Kathleen to town to celebrate her 90th birthday. He and beautiful wife Alexandra took her to Cirque du Soleil’s Ka at MGM Grand. After the show, they mingled with the cast backstage before heading off to a family birthday dinner. Gary told the cast that he was awestruck by the spectacle and kept asking the dancers and acrobats, “How do you choreograph something like that?”
Rodney Carrington with the cast of Cirque du Soleil's Ka at MGM Grand.
Also at Ka was standup comedian, actor and country music star Rodney Carrington, who headed across the MGM casino to headline the opening show of his own two-night appearance at the Hollywood Theater there. He also joined the cast backstage for photos and said he was so impressed with his new “neighbors” that he took extra souvenir photos of them to decorate his own dressing room.
Jennifer Flavin, Sylvester Stallone, Andrea Hissom and Steve Wynn.

Star surveillance
Action hero actor, director and screenwriter Sylvester Stallone went on a Christmas shopping expedition at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile and checked out Watch World and Club Tattoo. He and wife Jennifer Flavin attend the Garth Brooks concert at the Wynn after dining with hotel tycoon Steve Wynn, new ladylove Andrea Hissom and baseball baron Joe Torre at Victor Drai’s Botero in the Encore. … Comedian Jeff Dunham made himself at home in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace where he performed this weekend. He started his night by watching Cher’s show from front row seats -- and not long afterward, he was on her stage performing his own show! In between, Jeff went backstage to meet with Cher, but she couldn’t stay for his. This was Jeff’s second of six shows he’s committed to over the next year … Actors Mekhi Phifer and Omar Miller played craps with a group of Marines at the Hard Rock Hotel, while Heroes actress Dawn Olivieri partied there with a group of friends, and Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington took his family to dinner at Pink Taco there. Chester performed with his side project Dead by Sunrise during Holiday Havoc later that evening. … Former porn princess Tera Patrick, now an adult industry entrepreneur, and newly separated from Spyderz rocker Evan Seinfeld, was at star chef Kerry Simon’s restaurant in Palms Place with food and beverage publisher Michael Politz.
Colin Egglesfield.
Tonight’s tips
Incredible illusionist David Copperfield has a holiday season run at the Hollywood Theater in MGM Grand through New Year’s Eve. He’ll perform an additional afternoon show on Dec. 19 and Dec. 26. … Melrose Place heartthrob Colin Egglesfield hosts industry night at Prive in Planet Hollywood.
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs makes a promotional appearance for his new group Dirty Money and Ciroc Vodka at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip on Nov. 14, 2009.
Tomorrow’s teases
Country king Garth, who now rules the Strip, talks candidly about his return from retirement and the very last moment he realized that he was about to perform again after a nine-year layoff. We’ll also have our sneak peek of the new HRH Tower at the Hard Rock Hotel, the lavish health club with stripper poles, spa suites, plus the nightclub Vanity, where P. Diddy will host right after the New Year’s Eve opening with superstar singer John Mayer.
