Photo Gallery: Young Hollywood celebrates birthdays at Lavo

Young celebrity royalty chose Lavo for several birthday celebrations. Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of NHL legend and superstar Wayne Gretzky and his actress wife Janet Jones Gretzky, turned 21 at midnight and headed upstairs to the boutique nightclub to celebrate after an Italian feast with her parents and friends.

Actor Tom Selleck’s daughter Hannah Selleck also celebrated being able to drink legally at Lavo with a large group of friends in from California. She partied at the packed hotspot until the club closed, enjoying magnums of Belvedere and Dom Perignon and loving the cupcakes Lavo presented to her.

Breaking Bad’s Krysten Ritter, who turned 28 last Wednesday, was joined at her party by friends including actor Ivan Sergei, her co-star in the upcoming Starz series Gravity. After dinner, the group went upstairs to a VIP table, where Krysten danced closely with Ivan on the banquette to DJ Crooked. The actress beamed when the DJ gave her a shout-out and led the club in singing “Happy Birthday” as a cake was presented. Krysten couldn’t resist and tasted the frosting on the spot. The birthday girl was spotted dancing and drinking champagne to kick off her Las Vegas weekend at Tao in The Venetian the previous night.

E! Entertainment correspondent Jason Kennedy also blew out the candles for his 28th birthday. Accompanied by a bunch of guy friends, the group sat down to dinner before a night of clubbing. Once upstairs, Jason took over a VIP table in front of the DJ booth and celebrated with a cake. Like Krysten, Jason found it so tempting that he bit into the side right away.
