Britney Spears wins battle with ex and his lawyers

Proving she’s back in control of her life, pop princess Britney Spears laid down the law with an iron fist when lawyers for her ex, Kevin Federline, tried to change visitation rights to her youngsters Sean Preston and Jayden James. The superstar had apparently agreed to pay her one-time dancer-rapper husband an extra $4,000-plus a week and first-class travel expenses while she was out on her 33-city Circus Tour.
K-Fed also was going to get a furnished, luxury apartment rental in the three “zone” cities in New Orleans, New Jersey and Southern California where the kids would be based, and Brit would fly in on the designated visiting days between concerts in those regions to spend her court-approved time with the boys.
K-Fed’s lawyers didn’t like that private deal between their client and Britney and decided that they could take her for far more! She turned them down flat and made it clear that she’d cancel the tour rather than be financially beaten up even further!
Kevin Federline.
Brit won, the tour is still on and her April 25 date at MGM Grand Garden Arena here is safe again! I think the lawyers using the children as pawns in this mess for more money are disgusting and K-Fed just as bad. Bravo to Brit for standing her ground! The youngsters haven’t even started school yet, so it’s not as if their lives are disrupted by Mom’s travel!
Meantime, Brit’s tour is sold out, and tickets for the MGM concert are selling as high as $3,500 a ringside seat! Circus has just gone platinum, and a third single is being released. Brit’s back on top and very much in charge again!
