The new and extraordinary images from MGM’s 62-plus-acre CityCenter at the heart of the Strip are simply stunning, and for the first time, the reality of the emerging community is even bigger and better than once dreamed in the first architectural drawings.

As the Veer Towers near completion, the opposing angles designed by Helmut Jahn emerge in their own compelling, opposing angles. The signage for the Aria resort casino has been put in place, and the old and the new can be seen in the reflective facades of the buildings. MGM has begun the interview process of staffing for the giant undertaking that will be open by year’s end.

Overall total costs are currently estimated at $13 billion, and CityCenter will be the world’s largest self-contained private community complete with its own fire station, 30,000 parking spaces for guests and employees and an art park featuring America’s best sculptors and artists!

Among the many highlights: Cirque du Soleil will be presenting its new Elvis Presley-themed spectacle in the CityCenter theater, and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck has two new restaurants planned for the shopping zone Crystals.
